Re: A $1.48 goes a long way... Black Battery Cover!
Just a bit of news for any members in Long Island NY. I went to Sprint store located in the mall in Valley Stream and was immediately given a new battery cover. The guy said they have a bunch but he could only give me one

I used aluminum tape from Lowes for masking. It has powerful adhesive, cuts clean with an X-acto blade and resists heat very well. Its normally found in A/C dept and used for duct work.
Also... Has anyone tried acetone (nail polish remover) over the dye? If anyone has a guinea pig cover that could be used for testing purposes, id like to see what would result. |

Just finished mine.....Jeez, it was easy, but good god my phone smells!
It's black, but I think I might try to do that gun metal color on another cover. |

I've used powder, and no strong smell detected, or maybe I just need to quit sniffing adhesives

The liquid smelled longer than the powder did for me. The powder didn't really smell at all actually.
