I used aluminum tape from Lowes for masking. It has powerful adhesive, cuts clean with an X-acto blade and resists heat very well. Its normally found in A/C dept and used for duct work.

Has anyone tried acetone (nail polish remover) over the dye? If anyone has a guinea pig cover that could be used for testing purposes, id like to see what would result.
