Re: Asuion replacements (sending incorrect device)
mine came in as wellhttp://i404.photobucket.com/albums/p...MAGE_015-1.jpg(update) not to mention the previous owners information was still on the phone including his protector with a nice amount of hair underneath stuck to the screen (disgusting) called him and he told me that he just mailed this phone off last week for flickering and issues with the sound called asurion for another replacement.

Re: Asuion replacements (sending incorrect device)
I am fairly sure that the alltell Asuion PDF is pre-release or plain wrong, the small print at the bottom reads-

The odds are actually more against the buyer, in which case the phone could get a marked ESN as lost or stolen and then it would get deactivated. They would then have to contact you in hopes to get their money back, and you could then turn it in as "Found" with a story that your exgf (whom stole it) left it in a place for you to find after it was deactivated. This also works in the case that they charge your account for it, you would claim it as lost or stolen...you had given it to your exgf to ship.. Apparently she didn't ship it. It's still a gamble either way. Not something I'm recommending, but it has indeed worked for others. |
Re: Asuion replacements (sending incorrect device)
If I brick a phone and pay the $50 deductible for a new one...will I get to keep my old device? And say, a week or so after, I find a solution to unbrick it, can I sell or use it on Sprint's network?
Im sure lost/stolen devices get their esn's blacklisted...but is this the case with "broken"/defective ones as well? TIA. |
