just to give you guys a heads up i complained at asuruion so much because i have a4 diamonds here...a specialist even told me i could return my phone and exchange for a touch pro...and i did since its within 30 days I went into a Sprint store and they made the exchanged after seeing on my acoount that my original phone is a touch pro and they made the swap so maybe you guys should try that ...also if you have noticed sprint.com is out again and this time it doesnt say its on back order...the lady at the sprint store told me word is sprint can't keep up with the demand and this may be peoples last chance to get the touch pro because they are going to be out of stock indefintely...just relaying info that i was told...anyways good luck to you guys

so when the iphone was sold out at many apple stores when it launched and was hard to get for a while, did apple just say "oh man we can't keep up, might as well just stay out of stock"

i don't think so. the phone is popular for a reason and sprint isn't going to just stay "out of stock indefinitely" on these phones cause they can't keep up with the demand, especially when all other carriers are picking it up. The lady you spoke to was an idiot.

Called Asurion today, they said they have never mailed out a TP to a customer because they cannot get any. They said there is an indefinite wait on the Touch Pro and told me I can keep the diamond or wait forever (basically.) I went to ask him how is it that people can order NEW phones through Sprint warehouse but no one can get it from Asurion. The guy told me NO ONE has recieved the Touch Pro from Sprint since the 5th and I am still in line. I called him a liar and demanded the Office of the CEO again. Will update when I find out more.

(PS. I told them that Sprint says the problem is with them ordering the wrong phone, and they need to 3 way the call and he refused.)

I did this about a week ago it worked for me, retentions ordered my one and it it actually shipped out on friday with an estimated delievery of weds im so excited. i just gotta send them a diamond to have the price of the touch pro credited to my account

theres is a guy in this post that swears he got a tp through asurion with no problems at all and within a timely fashion

hmmm... seems like yall are in a bad stage...

well... i got mines... lol...

all i gotta do is get my battery to last more than 5 hours and i'm straight...

I called Sprint, spoke with a supervisor and he gave me a tracking number for a phone on the way. Looked up the number and sure enough it is in Topeka. I called UPS and they are trying to arange for me to pick it up today and not need to wait until tomorrow. I will let you know if it is a Diamond or a Pro when I get it.

Why Asurion could not provide me with this 2 hours before is beyond me. Its not like they JUST shipped the packadge (Shipped Nov 29th.)

http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/p.../IMAGE_001.jpgI've been waiting since the 18th of October for my replacement and was told it was on backorder, then next 1-2 business days, then 7 to 10 business days until i called on sunday and asked whats the deal and was told this time that they do not have any info as to when they will get them in addition she said she was giving this e-mail 3 days ago but i called twice within that period and i told her i was told something different . she said in ending i can either wait or just get the diamond and i sald NO! i want the original phone which is the pro. but all of a sudden i have a tracking number this afternoon. with it out being shipped I hope it's not the diamond.
