I paid $199 for mine. Called *2 then said "cancellation." When the lady answered I told her I was interested in getting a new phone (Touch Pro) but i checked online and it said my cost was going to be $459. I told her Bestbuy had the phone for $299 and I was not going to pay $500 for a new phone when i can go and get a brand new iPhone for $199. She then told me she would sell it to me for $199 and I didn't have to do any rebates or anything. I was not rude or anything and I thought it was a fair deal

Mine just came in from eCare. So far loving it. Doesn't exhibit the build problems that some has such as the slightly raised button area and everything's snappy.. Will have to play around with it a little more and then go with a custom rom. Was not expecting to automatically do a setup OTA and have my phone number appear. First time I turned it on it had a 000-0000 number..second time it went through some funky setup and then restarted.. boom phone ready to go.

Ok I think I'm doing something wrong. How exactly do you contact ecare? I went through the sprint site, logged in and went to "contact us" and send them a email through there.
I told them the issues I've been having with the mogul and their response was that they couldnt do anything since I'm out of the 30 day return policy and I would have to get a new phone... |

ECare agreed to exchange my TREO 755p for the TP and waved the 30 day exchange rule since I would have been within the 30 day if the launch was not delayed. On Sunday I received an email saying it was ordered and to expect it in 4 to 4 business days. I checked the status online it said in progress, I was happy little man and went to sleep. On Monday evening it still said "in progress" but I figured maybe the site wasn't updated and went to sleep. On Tuesday I log in expecting to see "Shipped" but all I saw was the word "CANCELED". I sent ECare and email and did not hear anything back, I called customer service and they suggested I wait for the email from ECare and that the order was canceled due to errors but did not know what those errors were.
Now it is going on 20 hours and no response from ECare...hopefully they will fix it and upgrade the shipping to next day since I am headed back offshore on Sunday and use a new toy with WiFi. |
