Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Had the phone for about 3 months now, and you guessed it, battery life still sucks.

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

i've searched the thread and as far as i can tell no one has mentioned charging while the phone is off. Normally i would say this is better but in the case of the diamond and the pro i can say that it does NOT charge it all the way. i have a spare diamond laying around so i use it to charge an extra battery, if i pull the battery out, and put it in the pro, then i turn it on and plug it in, it continues to charge for almost an hour! not sure if this will help anyone but if helped me for sure. i talk alot on the phone so i still have to have 2 battery's but i usually don't need the new one until after 4'o'Clock and i talk on average 1.5 to 3 hours per day(3500 to 5000 minutes per month), i have push email enabled, i usually hit up xda or ppcgeeks once a day, i download and listen to 3 or 4 mp3 VM's from gotvoice, plus lite use of google maps when i drive around town! i have the latest dream rom installed but i don't really notice a difference from the stock rom in battery life, just speed

Good phone. Bad battery.

I can't imagine a heavy user (especially one who depends on the cell phone for business) to stick with the Touch Pro.

As a light user, I manage to get by.

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Seeing how much this phone can actually do.. I am quite satisfied with the battery life. With medium usage i can get through 12 hours easily with my ATT Fuze using a custom ROM and various different tweaks. I think what people dont realize is this is in fact a very powerful device. Think of it as a super mini laptop with about 1/4 the battery power and having to constantly be connected to a cell tower for your internet. Of course I'd love to be able to constantly be able to be downloading huge files and be on chat programs as well as talking and sending texts all day, but thats quite demanding.

I am satisfied with the battery life, not happy, just satisfied,
