How in love with your current setup are you? I'd consider a hard reset, then the minimum tweaking needed to get it usable, and check battery life. As you add more stuff see what kills battery. Because something is killing battery. 2 Hours doing nothing at all?

2 Hours talking should be a little more then half your battery. 2 Hours looking pretty sitting on your desk should use about 4-6% of your battery, maybe 8% tops.
service in my office is bad but this seems to happen even with great service i still get crappy battery life.

can you please point me to some battery tweaks if you dont mind

The standard battery tweaks listed in the sticky at the top of this forum are all that I did...

Touch Pro Essentials:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42730

I think I increased the battery polling time to 5000 as well

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=39966

Do you use a screen lock at all? Using touchlock pro keeps it from waking up from button presses

Have we ever tracked down what processes get stuck like this? I had "hot phone" the other day, it didn't charge overnight and was pulling 400-500ma at idle. But I checked with various process tools and found that there weren't any drawing any CPU cycles. So it made me think, it must be the transmitter running ... but how would it be running without a corresponding process, and what would it be sending/receiving?

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!

Stupid moment on my end [well, more like stupid past 3 months]

My phone has had direct push enabled for my email. I thought it was set to every hour.

I am an idiot. I disabled it this weekend, and my battery life has become SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better!

Is that good, or bad?

Was it on the charger?

That should have given you a true 16 hours of actual talk-time--constant.
