Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!
heh...I normally don't use it near that much...but I just pick it up frmo time to time and try stuff.
If I didn't use data or gps in a day...I would probably be at 70-75% battery after a full day. |

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!
Unfortunately, no.
This is the reason why threads like this, and others have been created--to make people aware that these problems exist. It took us forever just to convince the community that there was even a problem in the first place. Even still, I hear comments saying that it's not true, but it seems that the majority of people are having this problem, (and many others, too.) History has told us that HTC's radio software never gets THAT great, even after plenty of time. Even the Vogue is pretty lousy. While it lasts leaps and bounds longer than my Pro, even with a smaller battery, it's still not that great at all. This is with the latest and greatest radio, (and I've tried them all.) It's much better than it started, (probably a 10% improvement,) but don't expect HTC to magically fix this overnight--or ever. If this is a major concern to you, (or anyone for that matter,) then it would not be wise to keep the phone and wait for a fix. Take the phone back, get it again when HTC fixes the problem--or get whatever else is better at the time... |

Re: Touch Pro Battery life!!! Post your reviews!!
So, i finally just got home, its 2 something and im making rounds on the net
![]() The battery died midway through my night out, so while i can say it was better than usually, disabling Async doesnt give it much more than i would hope. Basically, its no good as a temporary fix, worth a shot though. |
