Re: Touch Pro Reviews
Now people, let's keep this thread as civil asit was started. I also know that anyone is entitled to their opinions, but no need to tell anyone they're ridiculous. We're all human here as stated anywhere else.

Re: Touch Pro Reviews
TP for my bung hole?
I have used it over the weekend and so far it is a worthwhile upgrade over the Mogul...for a few reasons: 1. Responsiveness, the mogul was plagued with little memory, and if you had it loaded up with apps you could easily drain available memory. 2. Touch Screen Flush with rest of case: Makes the screen more usuable IMO. I remember the areas along the edge of the mogul's screen were often hard for me to hit using my fingers... mainly because of the beveled edge. 3. On screen key board.... much more finger friendly 4. Touch Screen more responsive / accurate. Might be a placebo, but I feel like the touch screen is overall more responsive and accurate. 5. Native MMS support! - Yes! 6. Opera Mobile Browser - Way better the Skyfire IMO, and miles ahead of PIE. Improve areas: 1. TF3D needs to be more customizable. I wish I could take out tabs, and re-order them.

Re: Touch Pro Reviews
Well 48 hours+ with it and i am in love. This thing just rocks. It took about a day to get used to the hidden control pad, and to learn to use the corners of the button area for best use. But this thing so far is sweet, and i havent stopped playing with it all weekend. PS - Teeter is SWEET. The g-meter is a nice added bonus.
Here is some pics compared to my 6700. It was grandfathered down to my roommate with a nice custom rom setup for her. So far, I have only missed it because learning to type on a new keyboard after over 3 years with the 6700 produces alot of instinctual button pushing. |

Re: Touch Pro Reviews
I find your comment, and the comment you quoted to be silly.
The only thing about the phone sliding in the opposite direction than the Mogul is that it is different. You can do it with a quick swipe and quickly transition to horizontal mode. Hardest thing about it is breaking old habits. Bundo, you seem to either have built the phone up to be more than it was intended or are just wanting to convince yourself that you dont want to buy the phone. Its not a magic transition technology, its a great improvement over the phone you have. |

There is a file you can replace it with instead of deleting it but I can't attach it for some reason. As far as the phone review goes: I hate the way it looks. I hate chrome on anything newer than 1980, I think it makes this phone look like a cheap kids toy. I was really expecting something a bit more elegant. It also made a great first impression on me by freezing overnight while on the charger in turn not charging and not sounding my alarm, this is a huge deal that hopefullynever happens again. Everything else I don't like about such as how slow manila and the phone in general is can be fixed with rom updates Last edited by ruskiyab; 10-27-2008 at 10:39 AM. |

The only things i'd be sacrificing are: The hard KB - the stock HTC has been wonderful to me so I cant see a need for it anymore... LED flash - this i will miss but not at the expense of the size and weight difference i'm addicted to from working with the Diamond for 2 weeks. Removable storage - with 4 gigs onboard in the diamond i'm good... i never even filled up the sd that was bundled with my mogul... TV-out - I was infatuated with the thought of this feature until i really thought about how much i would actually utilize it. At first it would be a novelty for me...but not an everyday feature... so again i'm not losing my staying put in this regard. The extra bundled apps that come witht the TP - in about five days I'll have cabs for that stuff lol cause this community is so awesome! no issue here. So i think i just made up my mind... I NEVER thought i could get along without the slide KB... now i almost cant imagine going back...
