Thxs criticalaudioins. You have given us sooo much info that I stopped calling Sprint and stopped emailing them due to all this new knowledge. Thanks again... this is what Sprint should be doing... updating us instead of keeping us in the dark.

yes trUE.. it makes SENSE on what he is describing but not sure why now they are holding telesales and evp back ....WHEN BEFORE THEY WERENT... unless they dont have the supply yet for all the phones to be released to all those channels so they are just releasing to BB first to make sure the supply is there for them....

maybe HE can throw it up on the conference or maybe give us the conference number for us to call into ... haha .. IMAGINE ....

Thank you for the info! Another question you might not even be able to answer is simply why in the h*ll did Sprint even release the Diamond with internal memory instead of using an SD slot so we can upgrade? It just seems like someone in Sprint had a retarded moment. Maybe there was a logical reason that you are aware of...although I can't fathom one myself. The Diamond would be perfect if not for that very HUGE flaw..IMHO.

Supply for bestbuy is currently not a issue, also with that we are not the only center so there 1000s upon 1000s of these phones for bestbuy.

Now processing is going well, we are head of schedule so everything is looking great, Now will the phone ship perfect with no issues? That can never be promised its a electronic device with software, theres always going to be a issue or two. Now has all the issues been fixed? The ones sprint is aware of they provided updates and repairs, did it fix all of them from what I can see yes, but in truth you never find the true problems until the unit is in the customers hands. So dont expect it to be perfect, cause as you all know we the users are the ones that make them perfect.

Now what im going to do today is use the pro model we have a test out the interface and give you guys some information on how it does. I need some ideas of what you guys would like to know and what you guys would like me to try?

Example: How quick does the screen convert when the keyboard is accessed?

Example: How many programs can you access without a unit freeze or soft reset?

Your right, it's not his call but it brings up a valid point that if the original launch date of Oct. 19th occured, BB would have received the phones just like everyoneelse ?No forums talked about BB being exclusive prior to Oct. 19th.

My guess is that BB was probably aware of the rumors of the delay (19Oct) then coordinated with Sprint to be the first to carry the device in stores upon resolving the issues. Although delayed, I'm sure if Critical and others like him are able to make this deadline tonight. Sprint would receive a substantial amount of cash from BB to be the first and only exclusively in stores. With this economy, this is text book marketing to get people into the Best Buy stores at a price of course. Especially releasing the device over it's own EVP,Telesales, Sprint Stores and other outlets. You best believe if this happens. Sprint will get PAID ! !

But the Verizon version will have an expandable SD slot...so it's not as though it wasn't possible...and if it was originally planned that way by HTC then someone in HTC needs tarred and featherd.

i have read all the pages of the previous thread and all the pages of this thread and you said the shipment to best buy would be on oct 24th at 12.01, do you know if this shipment or shipments are going to a central best buy location or are shipments being sent to different best buy stores?
Because if it is all being sent to one central best buy location on the 24th and say it would get there on the 25th of oct, the availability of the phones at our best buys in our different states would not be likely on the oct 26th.
