Supply for bestbuy is currently not a issue, also with that we are not the only center so there 1000s upon 1000s of these phones for bestbuy.

Now processing is going well, we are head of schedule so everything is looking great, Now will the phone ship perfect with no issues? That can never be promised its a electronic device with software, theres always going to be a issue or two. Now has all the issues been fixed? The ones sprint is aware of they provided updates and repairs, did it fix all of them from what I can see yes, but in truth you never find the true problems until the unit is in the customers hands. So dont expect it to be perfect, cause as you all know we the users are the ones that make them perfect.

Now what im going to do today is use the pro model we have a test out the interface and give you guys some information on how it does. I need some ideas of what you guys would like to know and what you guys would like me to try?

Example: How quick does the screen convert when the keyboard is accessed?

Example: How many programs can you access without a unit freeze or soft reset?

hey Criticalaudioinc,
i have read all the pages of the previous thread and all the pages of this thread and you said the shipment to best buy would be on oct 24th at 12.01, do you know if this shipment or shipments are going to a central best buy location or are shipments being sent to different best buy stores?
Because if it is all being sent to one central best buy location on the 24th and say it would get there on the 25th of oct, the availability of the phones at our best buys in our different states would not be likely on the oct 26th.

I can not release addresses, if thats what your asking now the phones are going to central best buy hubs then are leaving there the same day. There are also other shipments that we are loading directly on to best buy trucks so those are for sure going to stores, so it looks like its doing both.

No, i am not asking for any address, i am just saying that if the shipments go one central best buy hub, and it arrives there on the oct 25th, unless for some special sat 25th truck delivery from the best buy hub to the individual best buys stores around, it wont be in stores on the oct 26th.

It's been about 6hrs. since critical's last post ? This does not look good. At 3:44PM he mentioned that he would update us on the latest. High level conference calls were to occur prior to 5pm I would assume. This would High Level Executive decisions. I hope that I'm wrong but, we're looking to see if things are on schedule for the release and shipment of 1,000 of Pro's to Best Buy ?

Critical, What can you tell us? Even a thumbs up , neutral or good to go just cant' advise at this point?

When your in texting mode, Of course this will be in landscape mode, how much of the thread will be visible as oppose to the diamond where you could not see the previous message and only 1 line of your own text while typing. In other words, how large is the text area while texting or how many lines are viewable ?

One major question I have is keyboard lag. When typing a text message (quickly) does the phone keep up, or do you have to wait. I experience a lag on my Titan. I know it's not major, but it bugs the heck outta me.

does the camera take pictures pretty rapidly after u take one .. how long till u can take another . putting the review time on minn setting... the flash take a while to recharge...?

smart dial... on the phone screen searching for people.. i would hit three keys on my touch and the system would still just be populating the letter for the first key i pressed on the first key ... is smart dialing quicker.. or there is still a lag

are u having trble with the space bar being that it was made smaller to fit in the 5th row...?

is the phone vibrate fairly strong ? .. is it located behind the keyboard part?

does the screen shut off once the call is connected ...? is there a tone when the device is hung up so u know that the call is disconnected .. not sure if u can test these two since they arent connected to carriers yet

These are 2 great questions to start with! A couple more...

1. When using TF3D, opening the keyboard gives you those 8 icons. Is there any way you can change what those point to? I would rather have my "Notes" icon go to OneNote instead of the Windows Notes application.

I thought I had more questions but can't think of them. The question regarding the camera is a good one as well. I'm assuming the camera in the Touch Pro is the same as in the Diamond? The Diamond takes some great pics from what I've seen.
