I have a $300 wiex repeater, it only works sometimes. Of course when the signal blows with the wind (I don't care what you say, wind and weather definitely affect signal here), its kind of hard to repeat something that is so spotty.

It would just not be feasible for them to change their minds this far into the game. I think they will drop the idea of changing the specs. It will most likely be what it is now.

why would it need to go through fcc approval again? it would the same thing as sprint just slapping verizon name on it with vz navigator and vcast

it does not matter every new wireless device has to be approved by FCC. even if its the same as another carrier. they have to give it the OK.

Sounds like you're talking to Tier 1 reps. Call retentions, explain what happened and they should be willing to correct it for you once the Touch Pro is released.
