However I have to raise the BS flag on the front camera. Sprint and Verizon are CDMA and as such you can't have a voice channel and data channel (video) active at the same time. It is the nature of the network that prevents the use of a front camera. Sprint didn't decide to leave off the front camera to be d!cks about it... they just realized that they couldn't make video calls so they say 90% of the reason to keep the front camera fade away. And the Nazis were a group of crazy people that committed genocide. I don't think any phone corporations have come close to that yet. Perhaps there is a better disparagement available that doesn't compare a corporation to mass murder. |

And as far as the front camera goes: Maybe the network couldn't handle it, but it would have certainly been a nice feature to take self portraits with. To me, it would seem like it would be more trouble to take it out than just leave it in. It's not like it's an appendix.

![]() ![]() Maybe it already did. Making the bucks like they do... those exec's and CEO's get paid to not be idiots. You're a crack-up. Keep posting though... very entertaining. Last edited by roncruiser; 07-24-2008 at 01:35 AM. |

The reason they do not want to release the phone yet is because the iPhone is launching.
When you decide to launch a product you have take a look at the market demand. If the world is raving about on device, to simply introduce another device will hurt sales because the focus is on the "one device". A better approach is to see how this device works. Identify the faults then make your device better by correcting it. Now when the fad dies out you can come out of the woodworks with your device. Faster, more features and better tweaked for public consumption. It will be your turn to shine. Why spend millions marketing a product that will be gravely overshadowed by another. That's like trying to present your golden egg on the public access channel during the superbowl on superbowl Sunday. Maybe sprint hacked all the other carriers and downloaded all the statistical data that suggests that the biggest month that will contain contracts that are expiring is September. School kids will want it for school. November brings biggest sales numbers and December brings gifted contracts. That's my take. |

I do however think you should go discuss this with each and every C.E.O. you can find, in person... ![]() you know, maybe catch them on their way into work in the parking grage, or at the grocery store or maybe at home on Sunday. (so as not to take up their oh-so valuable time) Then maybe they will understand. ![]()

I'm just as anxious for the Touch Pro as anyone else that's interested. HTC knows what it's doing. They have expectations and projections to meet as a company. Fanb0ys are last on the list to be satisfied.

That's not always true: Apple has so far been accommodating to it's loyal following with the iPhone. It's just their specifications come up short.
