Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I have a quick question, I am currently running the latest AIO with updated initrd, kernel, modules, rootfs, and system but for some reason once it boots into XANDROID it no longer recognizes or mounts my 8GB SD Card, it ran fine for a while but now it shows there is no SD Card to mount under the settings menu. But I have a 2GB SD Card that boots and mounts fine, could my SD Card be shot or is it something to do with the size of the SD Card? I've tried re-formatting and different builds with the same result. Thanks in advance for any help!

I would assume since it's only for the N900 currently that 'no' it wouldn't work right now... But reading that dude's website, it sounds like it's fairly easily ported. I'm not sure if our devices can act as a 'slave' as he described. I'm sure if it's possible, they'll implement it and you'll hear about it. Last edited by arrrghhh; 09-04-2010 at 12:26 PM. |

i know the only working port as of now is on the n900, but psp, android and even the six axxis ps3 controller is being ported. most likely there will be an android and psp release soon.. im sure some ports will fail. but i heard that we probably will not beable to connect this build to the ps3. hopefully psp or this android build will work as i have both lol... |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I think the xdandroid USB drivers are still a bit flaky, so they might give a little trouble in implementing this.
Past that, I see no reason why it's not feasible. That said, feasible is a long way from grab-the-android-port and go. Who knows if it will work without extensive tweaking, but I can't see any reason it can't be made to eventually. But by that point there'll probably be a half dozen easier ways to do it. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I have a sprint touch pro, with the system from 9/3/2010 all of my hardware keys turn the screen off instead of functioning like they used to.
Anyone else having this issue? |

Occasionally, something like that seems to happen. I think more often it happens that the right side turns off the screen, and the left side activates the phone. But it's intermittent, not consistent, generally. Not sure if you're suffering from the same or a different issue.

Hey Makk, any plans on updating the AIO to the newest releases?

Ya hw keys still have issues. Seems to be a hardware issue not a software issue. If you do a good search on it you'll find some talk about it.
