Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

I used the raph500 startup from the previous all in one. Everything seems slick and good. Have not noticed any real improvement in battery life, and the phone is still a miniature oven if used heavily. I really like this tough! Props to all the effort you guys have put into it!

Wonder when we might be seeing the new Froyo All-In-One release? Would go along well with my fresh flash of EnergyROM...hehe

Ok, now I have a question, it is obvious, how do you add a live wallpaper to the screen, I tried on 2.1, but no luck, what app did you use?

I think they pulled it from 2.1, it's a feature built-into Android... So no app :P

It's on XDA (Download Post)... it probably won't come here until it's "stable"...

Running 2.2 package. Feels faster than 2.1. Less errors. Thus far no errors. Looks better too, with more options. Thanks for posting it!

New All-in-One coming in a few minutes. It's been working for me (though I haven't had cellular service since installing it, and assume it's still lacking the correct default APN).

Loading it now.

Hmm. Perhaps not. I removed all the old android folders and placed the new andboot folder in root of SD. I get the "loading linux" screen, briefly, then the phone is locked up. Odd......

lol, nevermind, I'm an ID10T. Booting up now

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

2.2 continues to work fine. I installed on a clean card, booted, had to setup APN, then after a minute 3G was up. Successfully sync'ed with Google account.

I did run into an issue during a call. After 10 minutes, the call dropped and I did not have network access (no voice, no data). I tried toggling it, but it did not work. I had to reboot the device.
