Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Adding this to my subscriptions as I need to read up on everything (customizations/basic droid stuff)....

I do have the pieced together version working and have been playing with it for a couple days. The TP2 is my primary phone so no biggie if I mess anything up with the TP...that being said....

THANK YOU OP for your help and thanks to everyone that has worked on putting this together!

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

First off I would like to say big ups to Makkonen, playing on donating very soon....
But i have a dumb question and I've been going through the thread but i noticed on your change log that you said the mic problem was fixed.....Does this mean we don't have to make a phone call now when we boot from WinMo?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Hey guys got a question.....I am currently two ticks away from Android being my full time Rom. Two things though i have questions about.

1. I see that bluetooth works somewhat but A2DP doesn't work right. I have bluetooth headphones I use in the gym and is there a program out there like in the Palm OS(audiogateway I think was the name) that could handle that in Android?

2. (Not very important) Is there a flash supported browser for Android yet and do you think there ever will be one?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Bluetooth does not work for practical purposes. It's probably fairly close, and might be working in other packages, but not with the main xdandroid system.

I believe there is flash support on htc sense devices, and some people have made some progress on running htc sense on the raphael. So I imagine flash will come at some point, but I'm not sure when.

not a big deal but gtalk isnt working with latest files. or all in one package. it just goes to black screen and 2 errors pop up
the application talk(process.com.google.android.talk)has stopped unexpectedly please try again.

the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly.

I think flash support is in the newer (espresso?) builds. The 2.1 build instead of the 2.0.1.

Strange... mine's been working just fine. I'm going to grab the newest kernel/rootfs from today and see what happens.

Hrm, I guess I haven't tried using GTalk in a few days... I don't get a black screen, just the screen that says it can't connect and that it'll retry shortly, but it never works. Looks like there's a new XDAndroid build, I'm going to grab it to see if it makes a difference.

New XDAndroid build is borked for me. Going to try a reformat and see what's up...

Still borked. Not sure what's wrong...

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to add new wallpapers to this? I tried adding wallpapers to the "media\resource" directory where I saw some other wallpapers but they don't show up when I try to change wallpapers.
