Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
MCC/MNC must be left as 310/995 or the APN will disappear. I think I mentioned this before here -- if not, there it is. The rest of the settings can be tweaked, but the device reports itself with that MCC/MNC, so will only show APNs with the corresponding values.
Facebook/pandora/google voice not showing up in the market comes down to the way Android reports resolution. If you go back to lcd.density=210 they might show up again (but use a fresh data.img). There's a hacked version of the market (made for Tattoo users) that shows everything, but it suffers from the old problem with downloads never starting. More on this as it comes. I've noticed instability when messing with the APNs, but I don't know where it comes from. I haven't played with the new build enough to see if it's significantly less stable for me as well. If so, it's either something in the rootfs or the kernel -- and neither seems to have any obvious changes that would cause a problem. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Is there any reason the resolution was changed? I noticed that with this new build that my screen resolution is significantly smaller, or my icons are significantly bigger. I'll adjust that lcd.density setting to see if it makes it better.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
A number of programs rely on on the 240 setting in order to fill the screen horizontally. It seemed a better choice than 210 for that reason. (Slidescreen and Abduction immediately come to mind, and I'm sure there are others.)
That said, I don't like how big the notifications bar is with 240, and things feel a bit cramped. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
yeah 210 screen resolution fixed missing FB for me too. I was in the same boat but i rember that market hides apps for nonsupported resolutions. The APNS i have not messed with it besides figuring out that some settings make it go away.
