Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
You can use my package with GSM. Just copy the raphael startup.txt out of the STARTUP CONFIGS directory and replace the one that's in the andboot directory.

With a clean install? I've seen many compatibility issues when mixing releases. The all-in-one works well on my Sprint TP.

In theory, you shouldn't have to even bother with the APN setting stuff with the latest packages; it should just work out of the box. Check under the battery whether you have a RAPH800 or a RAPH500. That sounds like the response typical of a Verizon Touch Pro -- I don't know what MetroPCS uses. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Here is a weird side affect and I don't know if it is just me or not. I updated to the new release yesterday but also reflashed my wm6 rom. Then I installed the Gen Y DualBoot onto the phone. When it boots from there into linux the phone freezes with a "cannot mount SD card" message. When I go into the file explorer and launch it through the Haret.exe I don't get any errors.
I am using the exact same copy of Gen Y Dualboot I was using last week and the only exception to the wm6 OS is that I don't have all the other programs I typically use installed on it. |
