Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

I took the All-in-One package from the first post. I first tried unzipping all files to the root like it was in an older build I tried earlier. Then I unzipped it into andboot and replaced the startup.txt. Did nothing else. No luck.
Does the WM ROM matter? I am on an EnergyROM...

Should not matter. I am running EnergyROM 23544 w/CoOkie tab and I dualboot the system always... I dont see the ROM being the issue...

hmmm... unfortunately, I dont have my TP... LuckyLui, can you get a list of the files on your SD posted or PM owilsky with it so he can check where this is taking a wrong turn? (If you dont mind that is... )

EDIT 1: Are you using the RAPH800 version of the Touch Pro?... Just wondring if that may b the issue...

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Sent em a pm
Hope it works

EDIT 1: I have Energyrom myself and it doesnt really bother with the android.. It has to do with your files something isnt clicking right. Either too many files in your card or something else?

Do you have a RAPH800? I'm not knowledgeable about European carriers, but I'd guess that Simyo is a GSM carrier, not CDMA, so you'll want to pop the battery out, check what version you have (raph100/300/etc), and probably drop the generic raphael startup.txt in the base andboot folder.

You are right. I removed the battery and I have a RAPH120.
So I took the generic startup.txt from the RAPH folder.
I then had to change the line
set KERNEL zImage.20100207_140206
to
set KERNEL zImage

and now it works.

Thanks a lot for all that helped!!!
