Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
I don't think anyone's had success with CDMA data connections that require a username/password. I don't know where the issue lies.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
update on the sticky/failing keyboard....
i wiped out the storage card. redownloaded all of the latest and greatest files. everything was operating just fine until i tried to send my first text. as soon as i hit the space bar the gave me 3 lines of spaces. i deleted them all and tried again and this time instead of repeating spaces, it quit responding. a simple squeeze of the keyboard and what i typed filled in. all in all it took me about 2 minutes to send a 4 word text. i am not seeing these same issues in winmo. so there is only one other person that is experiencing this other than me? |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
i know it is a sign of KB failure, but i just can't understand why it works fine in winmo. i opened it up and made it impossible for the cables to work loose anymore. i used winmo for a week w/o a single KB hiccup and within 2 minutes of running android it is acting up. in my mind it cannot be a coincidence.

I'm not sure what's wrong. You have indeed formatted your SD card and started with a completely FRESH build? Nothing saved over, I'm talkin clean. I'm not having the issue you describe. I have noticed the keyboard is more "sensitive" in Android if you will... it's a lot more likely to repeat keys if I hold them down just slightly too long. But I don't think I've ever had an issue with the typing. It always picks up what I'm typing, I just have to make sure I don't hold down the key longer than I need to. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
yes, completely disinfected of winmo or any previous android files.
i wouldn't have this problem if sprint would just release the supersonic...or whatever it is going to be called. of course it will cost as much as a house, but it will be worth it. |
