Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

the app call&roid installs fine but when I launch it it says components are missing or its not signed with a valid certificate, I just called my voicemail and launched haret in hopes of it doing the same thing but without this program going to test outbound calls now.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

I think you need to install MortScript in order for it to work.

To make sure it stays in portrait mode when you want it to, go to settings -> sound and display, and deselect 'orientation'.

Download the Android SDK download tool. you don't need any of the big files from it, just get the adb interface.

Then go into your android sdk -> tools folder from a cmd shell (assuming you're in windows), and type 'adb logcat -b radio'. That'll give you all sorts of log files for the radio. I'm not sure it'll actually tell you anything useful, but it's the first place to look.

Well I got some logs...a few errors keep popping up but not sure what they mean. Main one being invalid RIL_Token. Not sure what it means I have a feeling its part of the problem.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)

Makkonen, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

And TWiST, I use Energy's ROMs as well... and MortScript is built-in.... Unless you're using some stripped/Verizon ROM or something like that I guess.

Look on the Wave, there is a program on there that might work if call&droid isn't working for you. Unless it is the same program, no idea now that I think of it.

As far as the RIL, that is what Makkonen was thinking is the problem with the CDMA. Something along the lines of it is setup just enough to allow 'unsecured' CDMA connections, but not enough to allow it if your carrier requires a username/password, such as US Cellular.
