Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - ALPHA (buggy. as. hell.)

Ok well here is my feedback:

Works great! A lot faster response than the previous builds.
Market still kills my phone it reboots like crazy when it gets 3/4 thro the download.
I went 8 + hrs on my phone with out it crashing or rebooting.
Only had maybe 2 ANR's during that time.

Where is the ROOTFS.IMG for the RAPH800? I don't see it from the first post, and once I have deleted the one from the GSM package, I have an incomplete build. Help! thanks a lot.

Well I didn't check before I pluged it in. Sorry man I'll give it a shot tomorrow when I get to work. You where getting 4-5hrs? I never got past 3. I think the sleep stuff still isn't working 100%

Nope you use the one from the XDA Package. the calibration was merged with it.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - ALPHA (buggy. as. hell.)

Mine seems to load for a minute, then it says booting android and I get scrolling error messages. Something along the lines of.

Code:
squashfs error: unable to read page, block 20
squashfs error: unable to read fragment cache
I have tried several versions, and every search term I could think of.
Anyone know why I am getting this error?

Delete your system.sqsh and try again. looks like its corrupt. Edit - Did you delete your data.img between upgrades?

Thank you!
Then the instructions on the 1st post of the thread will require a little editing to help newcomers (like me). I am glad to use Android for half a day to a complete day (that is until I need the camera or bluetooth). The more stable it gets, the more newcomers

Yeah this is coming along great. I've compiled android from source but I didn't have time to add in the stuff that is required to get it to boot. If I can get it to work decent anyone on here interested in trying out my system.sqsh? The last time I did it it seemed to run good just didn't have market on it.
