Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
Sorry I've been out of touch. I haven't posted a new kernel here in a while, since all the new ones have been more steps backward than steps forward. I'll try to wrap up a newer kernel and stick it in the first post today. Just have to get sound working again and make calibration look halfway decent.

It was a test kernel posted on the wave.
- Power off works again - Touch screen tweak Thats all I see for now. Quote:

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
device speaker, not earpiece. Seems to be the same fix that got reverted -- power off works and sound doesn't, or vice versa. I put it back to the way I like it. :-p Since I never power off (Who turns their phone off?), I'd rather have sound working. But some people report that sound and poweroff work together... I don't know what the story is.
Touchscreen calibration is now workable. Unfortunately, I've gotta split right now, so it'll have to wait till tonight/tomorrow morning to get uploaded. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
I still can't get CDMA data to work. Tried formatting my SD card, setting up APN with the username/password used for #777 data but nothing has worked. Does data have to be setup a certain way in Windows Mobile for it to work right in Android?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
If you can't wait for the official update here is a kernel I built. My first one building but the deep sleep doesn't seem to work it reboots if it sits for a while.
Just restating this one does work but if the device is idle for a while it will reboot back in to WinMo other than that everything else works. Except turning wifi on and off again to see if that crashes it. |
