Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
ok rebooted, installed commandcenter, rebooted again.
started up. went into gmaps, got location fix. got out of gmaps, waited for gps icon to dissapear. put phone to sleep. waited 2 minutes to confirm deepsleep was not working (had to tap the screen a couple of times to keep the backlight on). ran dmesg via commandcenter. see: http://pastebin.com/aWBHXETk lol apparently something is off cause commandcenter saved it with a date of 6/18/2042

Wouldn't hurt. I can't say I've done a clean install but I'm using the files available in the first post here.

Quote:
When you say it doesn't pick up locations, could you be more specific? Do you see the antennae symbol in the status at the top? Does it have the pulsing signal indicator? Does the pulsing ever stop? It should work out of the box with Sprint, but may take a while to lock. If you want it to lock quicker, make the changes to gps.conf I described earlier. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...45#post1808845 |
