Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

Ok gps works. Maps finds me no problems and accurately. Yhe weather channel app seems off though. The widget finds me and has correct weather info but the actual app finds me in atlanta or something. I'm guessing that's a problem with the app or something cause maps is dead on. I think maps may have had me in the same location before gps worked. That's awesome. Battery and camera left and I can use this for work, woot!!!

Bzo, does winmo init this or does android? Any prerequirements?

Makk, I think you shoild update a new aio with turbo and gps. : )

should init itself, no other action needed.

Be aware however, that there is a bug with gps that prevents the phone from sleeping, even after you have turned off gps.

Noted in post #1. Thanks.

No good idea on this. I've noticed 3g hangs up for a while for me occasionally (on vogue and on TP2)... but it comes back without having to restart. I'd say check the usual suspects when you determine it's happening -- dmesg, logcat, etc.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

I am using the latest all in one package and have just replaced the rootfs with the new one that is supposed to have gps working, but for some reason I have no touch response on the first screen to unlock. I have a Raph 800. Is there any other files I am missing?

Oh yes look at that no sleep lights. Honestly the battery (from what I've noticed) seems to be about the same.

Sounds like you didn't calibrate the screen. Delete the tscalibration file where your android files are. When you reload android remember to do the calibration when it comes up.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

I tried that already, I am starting from scratch again. I always have to load the older package first to get the new(5-11) package to work (it kinda sucks as it is time consuming). I was wonder also why the calendar app does not show up in the newest all in one package or if this just unique to me?
