Solved this. It seems Motorola designed their own "Corporate Calendar" app to sync Exchange Calendars. The app was not native to Android hence why it is missing sometimes. Navigate your browser on your phone to here: http://www.droidaftermarket.com/files/CorpCal.apk and download and install. After that, make sure to use the Corporate Calendar app that's on the phone NOT the regular Calendar app. Your items will only show in the Corporate one. Also, there is a new Corporate Calendar Widget that is installed as well, if you used the Regular Calendar widget. I was tearing my hair out on this one. I needed my calendar. |

As far as the ROM you have installed, don't worry about RAM free in WinMo. It really has nothing to do with Android, once you run HaRET.exe, Linux/Android takes over your phone, and WinMo has nothing to do with the hardware at that point. With that said, I do believe the RAPH500 is also crippled compared to the 800 in both the RAM and ROM dept. Not sure why VZW chose to do that... |

I've been running this since Saturday...works like a charm. Running the latest rootfs and kernel as well. The Market is fixed to the point where some of the apps missing before are now available. I finally got my WinMo SMS messages onto Android. With that and the Corporate Calendar fix I finally found, I can't imagine going back to WM. Is there ANY way to turn off the battery notifications? I know the battery has more juice than 15% but the damn OS won't let me run it. Last edited by 88fingerslukee; 04-19-2010 at 04:23 PM. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
are you using the correct startup.txt?
there is a folder with a bunch of txt files, these are the starup files. grab the one that says raph800.txt, change the name to startup.txt, and place in the root of the andboot folder. try again and see if it works for you. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Renaming default.txt to startup.txt was not the solution, but you were close. As posted above, you need the correct startup.txt, should be included in the AIO package.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
ok on the radio. we have some of the hardware for fm to work but not all of it. so i assume that the result will be the same for us be it winmo or android. no fm radio for us.
