I felt the same way at first but now that I have the plan i couldn't be happier...i definitely take advantage of all the features. It's kind of like having a GPS....you never needed it until you got one, and now you can barely drive to your neighbors house /:

Just to add some information to the mix, I remember when all that happened as I was one of the people who complained. It was the change from the Treo 600 to the Treo 650.

On the Treo 600, you could open up your internet browser, do your business for a few minutes and then shut down the browser. You got charged for the few minutes you were on the internet....no big deal. The browser disconnected from the internet when you closed it.

Then came the Treo 650 and push mail. So, you opened up your browser, did your business, then closed your browser ...BUT YOU REMAINED CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. You weren't aware of it since the previous version automatically disconnected when the browser closed. Next thing you know, you had a huge charge on your bill. After looking into all the options, you found there was NO WAY to automatically disconnect from the internet when you closed the browser, that option had been eliminated to accommodate push mail . This forced Verizon to require the unlimited data plans on any phone that connected to the internet.

That's the reason I switched to Sprint, because the phone and data plans were so much less expensive, and I haven't been sorry since. I even got the $199 price match...............

Threads like this really tell me that I will NEVER give up my $30 Sero plan with unlimited data/text/mms with 500anytime minutes. I love you Sprint.

Okay..... $30 dollars a month for the service I get is pretty damn unheard of.

I don't understand what part of what I said qualifies me for a fanboy haha. You probably just mad cuz you pay way more than i do lol

U want to know another reason u pay $30 a month for data we(verizon) have the largest natiionwide data network in the country. we put more then 6.5 bil in the network yearly. do some reaserch and check out att sprint and vzw 3g maps and let me know what u find . . . and whats the point of a pda wout a data plan its like buying a v6 mustang u want to look cool but in the end we al realise ur to cheap to own something worth while

They're also the first people who would ***** and threaten to cancel if Sprint ever canned their precious SERO plans. If I was Dan Hesse, those would have been the first things to go. I can't imagine how much money Sprint is hemorrhaging (if they're not losing, they have to just be breaking even) over SERO in general. I'm happy with the Sprint service on the BlackBerry I have for my fiance (still in contract or it'd be gone), but to go as far as to say I love them? No thanks.
