Apologies, that cab was messed up. Try this one (and I've updated my earlier post with this cab now too).

Just so I understand this, for my own sanity When you say it didn't trigger the keyboard switch....you mean it switchedtemporarily to that odd phone keyboard, but then when you moved off that field it reverted back to the traditional keyboard....right???

Re: "Full QWERTY keypad replaced by "Phone keypad." Help!

This didn't help me. I made all the suggested register changes, but I still don't have the Full QWERTY keyboard option. When I press the arrow where I use to be able to select a different keyboard now nothing happens. The arrow does nothing. Furthermore when I go to settings / personal / input, there is NO Full QWERTY option anymore. I have seen many threads similar to this one, however at least could see the Full QWERTY option. I would appreaciate any assistance to get this issue resolved short of having to do a hard reset.

And you've tried that cab, 4 posts above, since it was updated...and then soft reset afterwards...correct?

Re: "Full QWERTY keypad replaced by "Phone keypad." Help!

Hi, I can't find where to uninstall the classic_word_completion cab. I've been trying for weeks to fix my virtuall keypad. The Full QWERTY keypad dissappeard. I no longer have an option any place, to include the input in settings, to select it. It's not listed any place. The only virtual keypad selection I have is the reguar keypad.

I've gone through 100 forum threads, trying the ones that might work, but without any success. I'm still trying because I don't want to have to do a hard reset.

thanks all,

Re: "Full QWERTY keypad replaced by "Phone keypad." Help!

I had a similar problem with my full QWERTY board messed up. I had the number pad and two letter "P" and "W". I uninstalled the word completion cab and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: "Full QWERTY keypad replaced by "Phone keypad." Help!

I have the same problem, and I found out how to reproduce it 100%, at least on my phone. This is what I do:

from TF3D slider, go to calender. Select any date, then menu->new.

In the new appointment window, go to line item "starts", the default time is 12:00PM. Hit the time as you would when you want to input a new time. At that point, the key pad will change to the phone keypad (the one with numbers and letter "p" and "w"), and it'll be stuck there.

Running Covkid66's fix cab will bring the full qwerty back, but the next time when you want to setup an appointment and input time, it'll be back again.

P.S.

I do have the classic word completion installed. I have gone to setting->personal->input->touch input options, and unchecked "turn on symbol lock". Didn't make any difference.

Could you please try this on your phone and let me know if you could reproduce the same result?

Thank you.
