(Here is what they sent me yesterday) Dear ****** Thank you for contacting Sprint regarding the credit against the phone price. The regular price of HTC PRO 2 is $599.99. Your account was eligible for online price. Therefore you receive an instant credit of $150.00 at the time of purchase. You can download the mail in rebate form by clicking the link given below: http://www.nextel.com/assets/pdfs/en...mir_103109.pdf The Mail-in-Rebate will take 8-14 weeks to be processed after the form is received. You will receive it in the form of a check at your mailing address You have paid $449.99 for the phone. Now, you need to fill the mail in rebate form to get the $100.00 mail in rebate. So, the phone will cost to you $349.99. I didnot find any notes regarding the credit on your account. However, looking at your longterm association and to match the price of the phone with Verizon, I have applied a credit of $150.00 to make the price of the phone $199.99. This credit will be adjusted against the monthly service charges. This will reflect on your next invoice. We value your business and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Please reply to this email or visit Sprint.com/mysprint if we can be of further assistance. Sincerely, Rosie M. Sprint (i told her that i was offered the price match over the phone but the phone got disconnected, which is true, and wondered if they could apply the discount since the other rep didn't. this was my third try, one phone call, an e-chat rep that wouldn't budge, and ecare which worked for me) |

Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
For the Love of God the same thing posted over and over yet for pages i said what to do.IN FACT! we had a nice thread about it till this stupid thread about a rumor that is not ture came along. The rumor #1 is not true in the topic so you must talk to them. Here is what i did and i got it threw ecare.
I sent ecare a e-mail and said i bought the touch pro 2 from telesales for 349.99 after rebates. Then i said i am not happy that Verizon has it for 199.99 and i would like a call on this. They called she looked on the website of Verizon and gave me the credit. NOW they most likely look at what plan you are on or how long you been on it cause it works for some and not others.I have a 7 line family plan that i have had for 10 years now. So this page by page junk of people saying "WHAT AM I DOING WRONG" and so on is going nowhere like this thread. You need to call and if not e-mail ecare till they do it.ANYTHING ELSE POSTED is a waste of time i don't see why there are this many pages and everyday this thread goes on and on about the Same THING. They should get rid of it since it IS NOT TRUE anyway.Yes they wil match but on case by case basis so Bottom line is call retentions i do by *2 then option 3 then 5 only way i ever talk to them. Or e-mail ecare and flat out tell them about the verizon price and you want a match do not beat around the bush i did not i told them i seen the price on there website and i was not happy and they called and gave me even more since the lady was stupid and over price matched. |

Re: Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price!
I get the 'invalid PIN' response all the time as well on their email form - I just leave it blank and in the body of the message say "My PIN is x."
FWIW, I got shot down every time on the online chat - has anyone actually been able to get a credit from them? Emailing eCare was the ticket for me, one email mentioning how I've been happily with Sprint for two years, just renewed my agreement, and have brought over a lot of people (all true, even if it is all on $30 SERO plans ) and they had me credited $150 within a few hours. |
