Sprints matches Big reds TP2 price! (May not work)

What exactly is the "appropriate department"? And what are you guys saying to them to get them to credit your account?

Id really rather return the phone and rebuy it since its technically not my acct. but I never mention thatto them because I realize beggers cant be choosers.

It means they will do absolutely nothing for you and you will be back to square one in 72 hours......Look for the number to retentions, somewhere on page 6 or 7 of this thread and speak with them. There job is to keep you as a customer. When they ask if I am considering leaving Sprint, I usually tell them, I would rather not and hopefully you can help me out....I never use the straight out threat......

For those who were successful in getting pricematched by email,can you please share the email you sent to sprint. I tried almost 10 times including emails,phone,chat and was denied on every attempt. No matter what i do or say, i am denied. I am very close to 30 day return period.

I would like to know this as well, because I also got an email back this morning saying they do not price match, but I can send the phone back to get a refund if I wanted to. Crazy. I'm just going to be really mad if they lower the price just as soon as I am OUT of my 30-day window.

I too was able to get the 199.99 pricing. My bill will be credited 150 dollars on the next cycle. I used the Ecare email to get it done. Chat reps seemed oblivious.

WOW that was easy using Ecare....I called and had no luck. I am on SERO old school with lots of perks so I have nothing to complain about at the regular price as sprint looses money with my account.

I didn't save the short text I wrote to them, but I all I said was that I purchased 2 TP2 phones at the $350 and read others are getting the $199 AR w/ 2-year agreement. Gave them the acct#, security code and phone numbers. less than an hour for the email stating the credit is being applied. I like the email stating this as sometimes sprint is slow to credit the account. As long as I can stay on the plan we have I will never leave sprint - and even after that I will stay with them to help them recover with cost of keeping me on the phone.

For the records, I am on the old SERO plan, with lots of perks.

Tried so many ways to get the phone for $200. Yesterday I got the email from ecare quoting the price being $199. They wanted me to call the telesales and order the phone. This morning I called the SERO telesales, and they said the price match is only for coporate accounts. They cannot honor the price.. WTF.. ! I told the csr that I have the email from ecare which states that the TP2 price is $199. Then he transfered the call to retentions, there the lady finally placed the order for $449, applying $150 renewal credit, and $150 PM credit. I still need to send MIR to get $100 back.

So total $199+tax for TP2. Alright, I am all set until Leo comes to Sprint.
