I just chatted online with them and they said I couldn't cancel, but I could reject when the phone came or return it to a sprint store. yeah just wait for the phone and them call them back for the credit.. im sure you will get it since the price will be lowered by Sprint.

you shouldnt have to return the phone by then since the new price will be in place

the price is with the MIR

to those that are getting turned down. keep trying, like i said they all got the email letting them know about the change... it all depends on who you get. each rep can handle the case diff

BUT as from October on they will have to do something since the price will drop to the $199

as far as my update.... i took my tp2 to my local sprint store, they told me i had to mail the phone back and that they couldnt take it.... so i called sprint back after i left the store and i was able to get my $150 credit....

I think that's the number I used to oreder my phone on my SERO account..

Well I just tried calling and got my bill reduced by $14 a month and the screen protectors, tax and shipping refunded. Probably just end up calling on oct 1st

Hmm, I just tried..................no luck. I spoke with retentions, who had to get telesales on line. I was told that they could not give out any information in future promotions
I bought the phone on September 8 so I still have time. I'll try again after the first of the month.

I was rejected on 1st call. The CSR did not know anything about the $199. I called again thanks to the post above and phone number and was successful!!!! I paid $319.99 when I ordered and just got a credit for $120 to bring it down to the $199 price! Thank you!!!
Oh, I have 7 lines and I am a corporate account/premier, etc. But when (as written before in other posts) I mentioned Verizon and the price matching and cancel phones, etc. The guy was perfect!

glad i could help.... from what i know they are the only 1 that can help you... well you can get the credit from retentions but its not as easy ( from what i know)

but the 1st is just around the corner guys, if you are not having any luck wait till then and call back.

of course you would have to be in your 30 days.... you may still be able to get the credit pass the 30 days but it may be harder for you since you are already locked into the 2 year contract ...

What would you honestly do in these situations?

A touch pro 2 New for $380 not from sprint, so no tie to a new contract (not eligible yet for full upgrade)

or

Wait til I am partially eligible for upgrade $75 until Nov 1st using the methods in this thread, which I don't know what price I would get from Sprint

I would personally keep the $380 one.. Only b/c I switch phones damn near every year and Im pretty sure another device will be comin out within this next yr that I would wanna purchase.
This way u could get the full upgrade on ur next phone and will be able to sell ur TP2 for an equal, if not greater price. Thats wat I usually do anyway..
