To get around that problem I found a program called "AudioRoute" which allows you to redirect sound from one speaker to the other... works great.

AudioRoute is freeware and it can be found here: http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=freeware
Thanks! AudioRoute works great! I just deleted the shortcut from windows/startup so now it doesn't boot everytime I soft reset, and I can just open it when I need it for Skype. Now I can use Skype to make cheap international calls through my wifi on my TP2. I tried using the phone's data, but the call quality isn't as good as wifi.

I'm pretty cautious in what I put on my phone, but per my posts above, I've had no problems whatsoever with AudioRoute. My preference was to remove it from AutoStart, so I just run it on the rare times when I need to use Skype.

You should always have a good Backup system anyway, not just for this program, so if you do, and AudioRoute creates problems that can't be fixed by a simple un-install, you can always use your Backup.

Re: Skype

Could someone confirm if Skype works with a new Official 6.5 Sprint ROM?

Thank you in advance.

Thank with a click please. I just verified it works fine with the new ROM. I installed from the cached file in activesynch (all my software reinstalled).

This Skype is essential for overseas since you can use Sprint data (cheap) and Skype and call for next to nothing anywhere.

Re: Skype

Working well for me with the new Sprint 6.5 stock rom. Installed AudioRoute and Skype from the .cab files. This is gonna be awesome if I can get it to work on overseas trips via a data connection.

Re: Skype

Can someone post the most recent version of Skype Cab? Looks like they're no longer supporting it on their site. Thanks in advance!
