I purchased the phone online on Wednesday night. Received and activated yesterday. Called customer service today to ask for a price match to Verizon's $199 deal and got transferred to retentions. After 20 minutes of d1ckering the best I could get was one month free service ($70) and add three land line phone numbers to their anytime/anywhere mobile to mobile service.

-$150 Discount to renew 2yr contract (I'm one year into the existing one.)

+ $53 tax

I just got off the phone with Sprint. I asked them if they pricematched Verizon price on equipment, they looked on Verizons website and they immediately adjusted my phone price to $199. It was that simple! Good Luck!

Why is everyone including the "I sold my TP1 for $x.xx so that makes my TP2 cost $x.xx". That has nothing to do with the cost you payed Sprint for the TP2. Unless you sold your TP1 back to Sprint.

More than I've paid for a phone ever, but can't complain too much with renewing our two SERO 500 lines I'm still way on the plus side compared to other carriers. First WM phone since hp ipaq 6315 that eventually crashed and burned. I'm excited and can't wait to start messing with it!
