I purchased the phone online on Wednesday night. Received and activated yesterday. Called customer service today to ask for a price match to Verizon's $199 deal and got transferred to retentions. After 20 minutes of d1ckering the best I could get was one month free service ($70) and add three land line phone numbers to their anytime/anywhere mobile to mobile service.
$599 Sprint's full retail cost.
-$150 Discount to renew 2yr contract (I'm one year into the existing one.)
= $449
+ $53 tax
= $503
- $70 One month free service.
= $433
-$100 mail in rebate
