Re: Touch Pro 2 FM Radio Questions/Answers

Radio also doesn't work on US Cellular and they have no music service.

Wrongheaded, yes, but the bean counters call it "Protecting Revenue Streams".

Which pisses me off because I don't even want the FM radio unlocked for music purposes; I just want to use TMC with Igo8 on my phone!

Hmm, another use that would be cool to have: access streaming media via Local FM tranceiver. Maybe it was disabled to punish all the evil downloaders in the States. lol

Ok, great meeting everyone, lets inform Verizon of our decision, and go home and take our moron medication, we've all missed the past week of pills I think."

Pretty sure removing the radio is a method by carriers to try and get the user to subscribe and pay for music from things like Vcast.

Boycott is the answer. But enough people won't do it. But I'll stand firm.............

Where did you get this cab?

At the very least I can try TMC on my GPS software (iGO 8 )

Well that would be an error... no sound, lol

FM radio would be nice on the TP2, a $7 portable radio from Wal-Mart can play AM AND FM, but not a Windows MObile $600+ (retail) PocketPC!?

I would love to have AM radio on the TP2, oh well... with this much difficulty and confusion getting FM, I'm sure AM is gone with the wind!
