Re: Touch Pro 2 FM Radio Questions/Answers
FYI I've copied all the Imagio's radio files in \windows and the reg entries I can find to the TP2. the radio app opens with no errors but I'm not tuning in to any stations. I'll keep poking around on the Imagio and see if I missed anything.

Yes, if you could please upload the GSM stuff files. I would still like to have them. Something like 2 folders inside a zip file each folder for each type. Or even post the whole extracted GSM Rom. as a .RAR file on a hosting site. <--That would be nice ! Quote:
The fm radio files are listed above in a previous post. Also need the BRCMInit.dll, .hcd files, and the fmradio application from the Verizon Imagio. If I just had a verizon imagio ROM in it's extracted individual files listing such as EXT,OEM,SYS, Etc... I could probably crack this or at least prove it's locked at the SPL level. |

Re: Touch Pro 2 FM Radio Questions/Answers
Here's all the FM files I can get ahold of at the moment. I'm having a pain trying to get a couple of the files off my phone. I didn't do a registry dump from my phone because I'm not yet sure what personal information I'd need to filter out of it first.
The RGU file in the GSM folder is the bulk of the GSM phone's registry. It seems to have all the Widcom/Broadcom/FM stuff. If it's an issue, I can break down one of the untouched Sprint ROMs and get the missing pieces. I'd post the World/GSM ROM contents, but it's over a gig ![]() Here's the instructions I followed, sort of, to get the dismantled ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469420 I'm not sure how much help I can be, but I'll try. I've got some background disassembling and modifying automotive engine control software as a hobby. Maybe I can apply some of that to this project. Who knows? I'm willing to try though ![]() Last edited by Gatecrasher R/T; 10-08-2009 at 12:05 AM. |

Re: Touch Pro 2 FM Radio Questions/Answers
I'm on the same page. The radio application successfully connects to audio gateway, however it's still not getting any signal. Does'nt look good..

Re: Touch Pro 2 FM Radio Questions/Answers
FYI - As I posted earlier, I copied all of the FM radio files & reg entries from the Imagio to the TP2. I was able to launch the app and it was even finding stations, but as you guys pointed out, it still wasn't playing any audio. I just noticed the Imagio does not have BTTrayCE.lnk in it's start up folder. When I removed this link from the TP2, the FM Radio application crashes with a pop up that says Unexpected Error. I would look at the Bluetooth .dll's next. The good news is that they are replaceable. However, when after I replaced them the FM radio couldn't detect my headset and told me to plug one in.

Re: Touch Pro 2 FM Radio Questions/Answers
I wonder if it would need it to be a mini usb headset plugged in for any reason? Rather then using the 3.5mm jack.
