Orangekid, we are all different and we value things differently, thats why we all have different opinions. To you the only difference is the larger screen and 3.5mm jack and to be quite honest that IS the only major difference since all the software stuff can me ported like you said. Me personally, I never had a problem with htc's propriety usb connection so I could care less if it had the 3.5mm jack or not but when I heard that the tp2 will have a 3.6" screen, I almost jizzed in my pants. I am getting it for the sole purpose of the larger screen as well as the international gsm support.

Everyone talks about the screen size and 3.5mm jack, but no one mentions the freakishly amazing speakerphone that the TP2 has. The TP1's speakerphone is absolute junk. It sounds terrible, and there's no noise cancellation like the TP2 has. That, along with screen size, 3.5mm jack, bigger keyboard, tf3d2, and the sex factor of it all...I'm getting one. haha

It seems orangekid assumes everyone upgrading is coming from a Pro or Diamond. A lot of folks, like me, are on a Mogul (or older). Even so, it's not an easy decision, as a well working Mogul has a lot of features the TP lost, and even more features are lost on the TP2 (even more buttons lost, and the flashlight). And the ICI (Interactive Cartoon Interface ) has some functionality downsides, like the extra steps to cut and paste text from emails and text messages. But good working Moguls are getting scarcer, new ones almost impossible to find, so it's getting close to the time to bite the bullet, I'm afraid.

I totally understand this...but you do eventually get used to it. It's REALLY weird at first, especially for me, who unfortunately traded in the Mogul for a Touch, which was retarded. The move to TP was never regretted though. It's so much better than my Mogul in almost every single way. All I miss are the buttons and the scroll wheel.

any chance we'll see this thing at best buy before sprint starts selling it directly? that's what happened with the TP and everyone was caught a little off guard by it. my bday is 8/31...hoping for the TP2 at BB by then!

So, I went to tmobile today to see what its like, And although when sprints drops im gonna get one...

But for real yalll, i could barely find any diff, ok let me refrase that, everything seemed to be so redundant.... Like im buying a new product with old software.... Other than the screen size and keyboard size. I really didnt see anything to go ooooooo about.... It actually had a cheap plastic feel to it...... But for real, other than the screen and keyboard, it didnt fly like everyone is claming... And reports ive read are battery is mainly only improved when not using it much.....

Once again, ill get one just cause my favorite cook has one and this is my hobby, but the money for it will make me cringe, i feel like im paying for only a screen....

well, there is my take on it... Maybe sprint will surprise us with 6.5 and itll atleast feel like im not going in reverse, or as soon as hspl is here.

i also played around with the tmobile tp2 and had the exact opposite experience.
