I understand what you are saying, but don't you think tmobile customers where calling tmobile asking the same thing and not being able to get an answer or just getting difference answers all together as far as a release date? Also the same with vzw and att, they didn't have a concrete answer as to when their versions of the tp2 will be coming out since there wasn't anything official other than leaked info on the internet including tmobile. So my point was its not only sprint reps that may not know an exact release date but the other reps from other carriers are the same way as well.

P.S. No disrespect to tmobile or anyone that uses their service but were you really thinking of leaving sprint for tmobile just for a tp2? Tmobile? I can understand vzw or att but tmobile? I would use a homing pigeon to communicate before I ever switched to tmobile.

I understand what you are saying but we are all different and we have different reasons for doing different things. Do I love my tp? Hell yeah I do, but honestly the biggest mistake htc did was put the same damn 2.8" screen like previous models. So for me I was sold as soon as I heard 3.6" screen, the rest wasn't that much of a deal breaker.

Doesn't Sprint usually release devices on a Sunday? That Sept. 6th release date seems plausible, if that's the case.

well I talked to a rep today and they told me the date has changed in their computer and its "pending " release. Wonder if they pushed the date forward or backward

I work for Sprint and if you look at a previosu post they were pic's posted of the actual release date 9-8-2009.

Might have to wait until October, since I got the TP1 in 10/08. Hate waiting a year to get the upgrade price.

I just called the T-Mobile store at Oakridge Mall in San Jose, and she said "it launches Wednesday, but we haven't received any yet". That's not good.
