try now.
It is not the cab. It is the overclock app.
EDIT:
If you still have problems for sleep, try this cab:
Ran fixSODcab and power settings 30sec and 3min. App set to 710, 528 and poll at 150. Still SOD on first sleep.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Thanks so much aguenter322. I've been testing your 1b cab file since it's release, with zero SOD or lockup issues so far.

If it helps anyone, here's my current settings:
Overclock 710 / 604
Backlight set to dim at 30 seconds and sleep at 5 minutes on battery.
Backlight set to dim at 1 minute and sleep at 10 minutes on AC power.
ROM: Vin's Pluto 6.5.x 23569 series with Co0kie Mod

Please note that when using Spb Backup, I noticed that it takes much longer to backup the system while overclocked. In turn, I'd recommend that users step the clock speed back to 528 prior to starting the backup process.

Best to all,
R

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Ive tried everything above 700mhz and nothing works, I dont get SOD when phone goes to sleep, but i do get SOD when i'm in a call and the proximity sensor turns the screen off, when I take the phone away from my ear the screen stays off and i have to press the reset button. I have it on 633 right now and it did it once but not every time i get a call.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Also interesting to note while on an older build I had needed this SOD-on-sleepfix but not on recent builds and currently on Vindows rom running purrfect without need of my cab so I stopped using it
Should not have any bad effect anyway.

howabout try polling at default 200 and instead of 528, the 604 that is the safe overclock.
If not I bet another rom or a fresh hard reset (after backing up of course) would do it.
I believe so because you can overclock to 710...

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

I'm running 729 with no issues. I've made lots of phone calls already and let the phone sleep.

I'm running
SuperRom
Manila 2.1
Clock speed 729 (i can do 748, but if i run a heavy load it will lock up)
Throttle 604
Polling 200

Using Setcpuspeed-1.0d

I have been able to overclock up to 768 without issue, all running well (and fast) but my problem is when I turn the screen off, no matter what setting it doesn't wake up..
I am also coming from a hardreset, saturday when I started trying to run overclock app.
My only other option is wait to see if newer versions fix anything..
Don't want a ROM change, I am totally happy with what I'm running: a1 ROM_23517 stripped Titanium with my personal touches...

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

i have bumped up to 729, throttled 604, polling 150 and have been running for 2 days with no SOD or freezes.
no scripts, using setcpuspeed 1.0d.
made and received lots of calls with no fail, phone goes into sleep with no problems.
tried 749 several times, phone freezes within 5 minutes.

Naw I have crashed Sense homescreen so many times I stopped counting.
If you install extra tabs, or a cabbed HTCmessaging version, or flip to landscape on the newer Sense versions ...
It likes to crash...
Check and delete worthless "application data" folder on mem card if it is there.
Sense likes to make that folder and throw temp data in thr that may conflict with homescreen.
If not, a soft reset always brings me back.
overclock speed did not matter.
I may try it without cookie home screen to see if it helps, But its just a guess.
No "application data" on the storage card. I am back up and running fine, but you are right Sense is a pain, as it seems to be what prevents me from overclocking even faster. Sense seems just a slight bit better than the WM 6.5 interface, but maybe it is time just to drop it.

In any case I will reinstall the Sprite backup and remind myself to run it manually after throttling back Sundays now....

Are you using the script or the program? IMHO the script is much more stable.
