only have 2 thoughts i guess.

a) maybe you have the OC too high (right on the edge)
b) maybe you have polling time too long
c) maybe your cpu is just one of them that doesnt like to be OC'ed

since you are getting SOD on sleep...maybe you should try the SetCpuSpeed tool instead of the script (for a test) and see if you have similar results ???

you could try reducing your polling time w/ the script first i guess.

yah ill try to lower the polling.. the thing is it runs fine.. and even if i hit the power button i can turn it back on fine.. same with during a phone call.. its only when pocketshield turns it off , i get the sod.. but let me try your suggestions and see.. thanks

I'm having the exact same problem. Either I get a text message or phone call while I'm away and it locks itself back up into pocketshield before putting the phone to sleep which causes the SOD. Everything else works fine without SOD.

For now, I'm going to put it back to the "safe speed" (604mhz) so hopefully it'll prevent it from happening. I am using Setcpuspeed.

Here are the specs causing the SOD.
Overclock speed: 710mhz
Throttled speed: 604mhz
Polling: 200ms

well I had to check this out and so far so good... running sbp benchmark now to see what kind of results. Will have to do a few rounds of testing since I installed the OC prog (went with the scripts method) on Energy.RHODCDMA.23673.Sense2.5.Cookie.Jul.24 that has gotten muddied up a bit. Initial messing around does seem pretty good - I went right up to 710 and nothing is smoking yet.

For the record I could run manually Sprite Backup. Seems like there was something about the automatic timed version that screwed up. I am running the scripts.

Nayr1482 thanks for your script. Used yours first cause of ease of install.. but i was wondering if you could add another element for the cpu speed to go higher if it is on ac? or is that already incorporated

it does not do that today. i will take a look at it, i would imagine i can add this.

ok...anyone know what registry key has info about battery state? i cant find anything that indicates my phone is plugged in!
