Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
not broken, just not finished.
Community work-arounds for SOD & app crash made it usable so far. When he solves this there will be no need for the extra cab or script solutions.

When off, unit will auto-scale to stock speed and if you are not at the "safe-mode" speed your unit will crash. for faster bootup, just go in registry to the "bootTime", and lower the time there. In XDA thread it was not recomended because of some usesers getting SOD on startup. Unless you soft-reset alot, I would leave that alone, but as you may have to hard-reset if you are stuck. Edit: if using script cab then read page 33. Looks like you can do this afterall.. Last edited by Maxx134; 08-10-2010 at 05:11 PM. |

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
Thanks given, was hoping to be able to underclock below 500's while screen is off but I guess that's not an option yet. Also that script caused SOD and my phone stopped charging overnight. I guess I'll stick with the cab until the kinks are worked out and there are more options.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
If you want to keep the software, set all speeds back to 528 and reset.
If you want to get rid of the software, shut down the device, remove the memory card, restart, ignore the error, and uninstall using the standard method.

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
If you're using the script, just go to settings tab>applications>remove programs and uninstall mortscript and the oc_auto4.xx script. Delete the shortcut from your \windows\startup folder too.
You could always hard reset too. |

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?
got it now, didn't realize it the duration was in ms (lack of sleep).... Thanks! If only netripper could get it to set speed to 528, could save having to soft reset (for safe mode) just to run haret.
