If this phone isnt announced that doesnt mean we wont get it right? Didnt tmobile get the tp2 before sprint and verizon also. maybe thats just the way it is. the only reason we knew sprint was getting the rhodium was because we had the leaked roadmap, other then that we wouldnt have known as early as we did. if tomorrows update is about a 6.5 update i will be so frustrated, they have to know we've had 6.5 for months now if someone really wanted it.

What I don't understand is i wouldve thought by now somebody wouldve figured out what snuck through fcc recently. usually someone on ppcgeeks is on those fcc reports, this is the real reason i don't think its hd2, but we can still hope. Someone posted that sprint is having the annoucement till 730 pacific time, so we will see.

If it went through the FCC, someone would have caught it for sure. So chances are whatever they are announcing hasn't hit the FCC yet. Probably something they are announcing that isn't scheduled for release for a while so it has time to hit the FCC after the announcement.

I have looked over the FCC applications recently and found the only thing recent is for 12/14 and that was the Nexus one. Only reason we knew that is they screwed up, and had the name on the battery they had a picture of. BUT it took about 23 days over the holidays to go from that to on sale. I am not sure when documents that are requested to be confidential get posted on FCC though. They could be in the process of review now and not know.

I probably will because i want a faster processor and I like Sense 2.5 which is kind of slow on the TP2

So it seems like LG's annoucement was the fact that they will have winmo 7 phones available this year (look on the front news page of ppcgeeks), hopefullys sprints wimax phone annoucement is an htc hd2, we still have hope.
