It's not coming out today, the HTC tech support calls and emails say so.

Hey maybe we can snap our fingers and make our Titans play satellite TV and tell the future and even go do our work for us. It could happen. Still 6 hours left right?

My wife's mogul, with the original sprint (non music store) rom, without carrier customizations, and with the dll file for internet sharing removed from the registry as an extension has no memory leak, and no stability problems at all. In fact, her phone is basically perfect. My 6700 is also basically perfect, though, my bigj rom has had a few times where it's locked up. I use my phone DAILY, with a billion and one tasks done on it, and my wife the same, and no problems from either, definitely no memory leak on her mogul.

Oh, I forgot, you would rather install any untested program and expect it to work PERFECTLY with your resources. To say that it isn't comparable to a regular PC OS being released is stupid. They are both based on your "precious resources" and MOST OF THE TIME, the newest OS uses MORE memory, especially with Microsoft. So, considering this is a newer OS from Microsoft, an intelligent person would expect something close to what has actually happened.
Look man! The PPC has a serious memory issue. We shouldn't even be debating this. It's known. It's a fact. It's been proven and tested. It might sound logical to say don't install 3rd party apps but this isn't even an app issue. This OS doesn't handle memory well. If all you do is make phone calls on your PPC and use the contacts/calender this issue might not bother you. However, the more advanced user would like to multi task the way it was meant to be. The way MS promised and advertised it to be.

I'm not mad at Sprint. I've used PPCPE since the first US version on T-Mobile aka XDA. There is an inherent problem whereby once OEMs add or customize WinCE it just doesnt act right with regards to memory.

If you go back and read, you'll notice my comments were directed toward the whining about programs that were installed causing memory problems. I'm not denying the memory problem, I'm just saying I think it has been way overblown by MOST (not all) people.

Ok...

So I go to school and come back. There are 5 new pages on this thread about people bitching about something that was never officially promised and attacking each other.

Then I go to the thread on the Sprint forums where the 'Sprint Employee' mentioned the possibility of the ROM coming out today, heck... he even said to check HTC's site on the 22nd or after the 22nd, and there are only 2 new posts on that thread?

No offense to anyone, but if you want to bitch about this, then complaint to Sprint. If not, might as well spend your energy on something else and something productive.

I don't want to be mean, but this is just ridiculous, I am as upset as everyone else that the Mogul could work better; but this is getting us nowhere and making users attack each other, and we will not tolerate that as we are a friendly community.

Finally, please stop the posts every so often saying you have been waiting for X amount of time today, or you are gonna do something to someone if the ROM doesn't come out today, etc. etc. If this trend continues I will start issuing warnings for spamming.

Do you want to contribute to the thread? Fine, but please something constructive or that least can be discussed.

Ohhh...

And the cake is a lie

OK - I'll admit - I laughed at this. I realize Sprint never actually said anything - just some employee of Sprint of unknown level, position with them.
