New Rom Update (#2) Supposed to be available by 10/22
 

According to a Sprint Employee on Sprints forum buzzaboutwireless.com the ROM update is supposed to be available by 10/22.

This is supposed to address the Bluetooth issues (at a minimum).

I hope he's right this time (he's the same guy that said end of Sept a month or so ago). He does appear to have detailed info, so I'm optimistic - but I will still try out the Alltel ROM this week.

No, from other posts - looks like Rev A is pushed out to 2008.

Great news. I hope they will address the memory leak issue. The system freeze daily or every two days and I have to do a soft reset.

As it currently stands (subject to change), Rev.A isn't coming until Spring 2008. I have confirmed this internally. Don't ask me how...I can't say or I can lose my job....seriously.

While I'll admit, revA would be nice, however, what I'd like to see more than anything is the gps unlocked. If they don't unlock the GPS by the 1st of the year, I'm hoping to switch to the tilt and AT&T.

Didn't sprint just screw me over with all the GPS enabled and rev a (fall) bs?

Total disappointment. :angry7: I'm not focused on Rev A but at least they should deliver what they promise.
