Gotta be honest, I think i'll wait till fall when my contract is up and dump VZW completely and a damn iPhone from AT&T.

thanks in advance,

I would back everything up (not by imaging eg.Sprite, etc) and hard reset.

Follow this and you will be fine:

Downgrade bootloader using nue-relocker, downgrade to Verizon pre-GPS rom 2.09.605.8, upgrade bootloader using nue2.47, upgrade to radio 3.42.50, upgrade to DCD 3.26, upgrade to Telus aGPS settings using QPST and my Telus cab.

My signature on all my posts has links most of the stuff from above (relocking instrux and downloads for nueRelocker and VZW preGPS ROM are in the wiki from first link, and the rest is self-explanatory).

For Valhalla:
HKLM\Software\Valhalla Legends\GPSServer\Mode = 2
HKLM\Software\Valhalla Legends\GPSServer\PDEAddress = 5C8BC6D8
HKLM\Software\Valhalla Legends\GPSServer\PDEPort = 8889

For HTC/SUPL AGPS:
HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\EnableAGPS = 1
HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\GPSMode = 4
HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\ServerIP = 216.198.139.92
HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\ServerPort = 8889
Ok so i have xv6900 with Valhalla and GPS stopped working so initially I changed mode = 0 and GPS worked without aGPS. Now it also stopped working. So i changed to the settings above. But it doesn't work. Could it be because PDEAddress displays as decimals even though i tapped radio button for hex and entered everything as hex?

Shouldn't matter as long as it is the correct address in hex. The radio button is simply for your viewing pleasure. It actually all gets turned into binary when the system uses it.

Re: VZW aGPS issues anyone?

Man, i have tried the downgrade-upgrade tutorial step-by-step about 3 times, and still no working GPS on my Titan.

i relocked, downgraded to stock VZW rom, unlocked to 2.47, upgraded to 3.42.50 radio, upgraded to Titan Reloaded 1.42b Rom, tried QPST settings for both verizon (installed GC aGPS cab), and telus (telus cab), and still no GPS. I only have Google Maps installed, but it just sits there on "seeking satellites". location is "on", program port is "com 4", hardware port is "none", baud is "4800", manage automatically is set, and "managed by windows" is set in Google maps. I never get any satellites using either verizon or telus settings.

Can anyone help!? I'd love to get this working on this custom rom and not have to go back to MR1/2 just to use VZ navigator :-/

Did you use the Telus IP address and port in QPST? These QPST settings will negate any changes you make in the registry with the CAB files and if you used the Verizon IP settings from the tutorial in QPST... well that's not gonna' work.

Re: VZW aGPS issues anyone?

I have the xv6800 w/o the data plan ( I really only needed a phone with wifi, and IT stuff). I have been slamming my face on the keyboard in hopes that it will fix the issue.. well that and following all the instructions to a T. I have the MR1 rom with valhall legends gpsserver installed.. I havent been able to get it to work with any program... I think I have tried all the instructions and reg settings avail... so can some one point me in the right direction?

supl agps settings:
EnableAGPS=1
EnableGPSSmart=1
GPSMode=2

Valhalla settings:
Mode=2
PDEAdress= 5c8bc6d8
PDEPort= 8889

Set to Location on
com 4
baud 4800
managed by windows

Does not having a data plan completely miff most of these tutorials?

Yea, I tried them at two separate times. QPST w/ Verizon settings and installed Verizon cab, and then tried QPST w/ Telus settings and telus cab.
