Is Sprint still giving out refur'ed MOGULs?

my screen cracked and I took a chance with the Assurion website... they have been pricks over the phone in the past when i called and have always sent me refurb after refurb,.... so i was happy when i saw this message

im so hoping its a new 6850 Touch Pro not a refurb

Know what's funny and ridiculous? People are trying to sell 6800s on ebay for up to $250! Like, seriously, they shouldn't be charging any more than $50, the device is completely incapable of running WM properly. The issue is surprisingly similar with the $6700, at up to $150.

the 6700 is at least 3 years old and let me tell u that thing was a beast! so yes just like my old pentium II in the days of the netscape IE browser wars way before Firefox.. it was once on top of the world... and surely worth the$200+.... but its junk now

anyways I got my Tp today the screen is way smaller than the mogul but the speed and not running out of ram sure pay off.. thanks a lot for this post!

The screen size is exactly the same, but the Touch Pro has a thinner bezel. I recently got a TP also and I LOVE the speed and RAM!

So I called Asurion tonight after going to phoneclaim.com and getting this message: "We apologize for any inconvenience; however, for your protection, further verification is required to file your claim. Please contact us at 1-800-584-3666 and one of our Customer Service Representatives will be happy to further assist you" and was told that I would be sent another refurbed Mogul.

The reason I am getting the message above is because this claim will be my 3rd in a calendar year and they have to tell me that I cannot make anymore claims.

I just got off the phone with asurian and I am getting the touch pro as well. The lady told me that I have a chance of getting the full new kit instead of just the phone/battery/charger. anyone else get the whole sprint kit 'n kaboodle (memory card, case, etc)?

I just went to Sprint to replace my mogul because to mic didn't work. They gave me a refurb. Mogul. And the Down button for the Dpad doesn't work. They said they are ordering me another refurb. Mogul.

same here my mogul wouldnt allow it to connect to pc or to charge sometimes and they got me a new mogul on its way

Got the whole works - everything was brand new, wrapped up inside the box.
This was about a week and a half ago after calling in with a bad mogul - the brand new TP showed up the next day.

I like Wyoming. When I came through there there was no coverage at all. Couldn't even roam. Here are some that should work.
