Just a reminder, this is the forum for the HTC Titan/Mogul/6800/P4000/Whatever name VZW gives it. Some of these tweaks are specific for this device, make sure you don't start messing with the registry unless you are sure the tweak will work for you, or you have a Titan.

I see a couple of posts about a 700wx... don't want anyone screwing up their device.

Also, a personal recommendation is to always export the value you are changing so you can revert back to it if needed. I always export them to Storage Card\Backups\Registry.

fyi no quotes on the sting values if using a reg edit.

This remove date from today and puts it upop....
Thanks for the info... I did this and got the date up top, but the year is missing the last digit.

Also, how do I get rid of the default carrier name and date line on the today screen? Im sure there is a simple way but im not seeing it. Thanks.
Guys,

Did anybody write down the original settings before this hack? I think Im gonna reverse it. Thanks.
yes just remove the tbopt and the ssdte entries....

Hmm, thats what I should have done. You live and you learn I guess. Next time I will back up the values first.

Thanks badwolf!

No do not remove the SSDte registry. Just edit the extra spaces out of it (or just leave it as-is... it won't cause any harm).

I tried doing this as well and still was not able to change this. This is not very important to me but I'm damn near OCD. When I fixate on something I have to figure it out.

I tried changing this and power cycling it immediately afterwards. When it first came on the operator was "Home." There must be some sort of "checksum" where the operator verifies with another string what it should be. Is this possible or has someone figured out a way to change this yet?

EDIT: After screwing with this a bit, mine now says "Home". Not sure how I did that, lol.

Here is the pic draghn attached. I tried this and had it working, but disabled it as I did not want to use up all that space for a single icon. I would like to figure out how to get it in the top bar with the signal and EVDO icons.

If you want the battery icon on the title bar at the top do this....
(Note this will replace the time on the titlebar with a battery meter)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell]
"ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:00000001
to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell]
"ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:00000000

Reboot.

If you want the battery, screen rotate, and CommManager icons down in your tray (like on the 6700) do this.....
Unzip this .zip, copy the .cab to your 6800, run the TrayIcons.cab, reboot.

Good luck!

If anoyone tries to place the battery meter on the top bar with the tweak above, please post a screenshot... I'd love to see how it look and don't mind losing the clock up there.
