Ya know I cant laugh because I have tried to install and run it 3 times and knew each time what it would do. I'm done with it I'll wait for the copy after that (4.20.40?). But have no fear we'll see 10 more posts about how the update is out and ROCK's. Ha
They'll be back too.

Re: Garmin GPS.......

DAYMNIT DUMB QUESTION K? LOL I have always wanted to ask this. HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY USE THE POI'S. Do you just installed it into your ppc and let it takes it course? Or do I actually have to do some settings on on phone? If you feel that this question is dumb, then it actually it. LOL I'm kind of confused about this because when I took the Garmin out for a drive, I didn't get any warnings??????? Thanks in advance if someone would like to reply.

Re: Garmin GPS.......

Was out in the San Bernardino Mountains near Palm Springs hiking. Phone was off, and GPS worked beautifully. The only problem I had was when I accidentally pressed the power button, hibernating the phone. When I woke it up, couldn't find GPS satellites anymore. Soft Reset and everything was fine. Used Garmin Route tracking to get GPS points as I was hiking. Very cool feature. Just had to set software to override backlight to always on.

Couldn't use Topo and City Navigator at the same time though. Had to disable City Navigator to see the Topo maps where I was at, even though the City Navigator had no information.

Here's what I have installed:
Garmin XT 4.20.20
Support Files 4.XXXXX
City Navigator 2009
TOPO US
Topo 24K National Parks West
