Re: 6800 Garmin GPS.......

I'm sure this has been asked, but it takes forever to calculate a route (5.00.20w I think). Any ideas?

Re: 6800 Garmin GPS.......

I have not been able to find an asnwer to this question: Is it possbile to use the Moguls internal GPS reciever and Garmin Que GPS software?

I have a legal version of Garmin que 2.9 software on my Mogul. However, it wants to use the Bluetooth (gps 10) receiver for its connection. i would like it to connect to the internal GPS though. I have been able to get TomTom software on the Mogul to connect to the internal GPS. But not my Garmin Software. I have seen Directions for using MobileXT and the internal GPS. But I do not like that GPS interface nor TomToms.

So, if anyone knows of a way to get the Garmin Que software to use the Moguls internal GPS...please..please..please post an how to. I hate having to use the bluethooth GPS or Mobile xt or Tomtom.

Thanks!

Re: 6800 Garmin GPS.......

OK, I'm using 5.00.20wp and to fix the problem of time/date changed by software: Go to tools--->settings--->display--->color mode, i noticed if i keep (auto) between day and night, it will changes my time/date.

P.S. I use DAY permanently. my time/date has not change since then, just give it a shot.

Edit: is there any way to speed up the way the vehicle moves when navigating.
Thanks in advanced.

Re: 6800 Garmin GPS.......

happy new years 2 years later is there a new thread for mobile xt anywhere? absolutely LOVE the software bar none best route calculation algo's around. I have over a dozen GPS units and none come even close!

Also found out how to change voices just rename your new voice AS ONE OF your existing voices and copy over it. works a champ.

anymore tips tricks upgrades etc... ??

for over writing maps you don't have to "do them all" at once. just rename your original map to something else and upload your new map. you can have more than one map just don't make them all the same name.
