Oy, I just got crackling static again on my BT8010 headset with 2.17 firmware. Looks like it happens when I have an incoming call and a custom ringer is set for that particular caller. Happened both times with two different callers with two different custom ringers.

Disabled all custom ringers and there are no problems.

So it's fine as long as I don't use custom ring tones for different people.

Now with the roaming/freezing problems widely reported, I might just end up with a touch afterall.

Weird, the PRL update did the trick for me...

i dont want to do it but im going to do another hard reset. Ill let you know what happens with the roaming after.

I called Sprint and they said the latest PRL for my Mogul is 60610. The same person also said the latest ROM version is 2.16. I corrected them, but it didn't matter. If someone gets the 60611 PRL, can they post it here? Many thanks.

I'd also like to try the 60611 PRL if someone is willing to post it for further testing.

Even if it doesn't fix every issue, a few people are saying it solves issues for their area.

ROM update Bug Report: Live Search (Microsoft) fails with a program exception as soon as it starts. It did the same thing on the 2.16 ROM, but it worked fine on prior versions.

Live Search is working fine here with the new ROM..

How do I go about extracting the PRL for you guys???

Works fine for me - what version are you using? You can grab the latest (working with no problems - voice and all for me on 2.17) from wls.live.com.

I tried the new rom today and on my mogul all of the soft keys wouldn't respond and the phone would not flip to landscape mode when the key board opened. going back to the old rom. atleast that one work ok.

Something is definitely not right with that After a hard reset on the new ROM they don't respond at all? (i.e. Nothing installed no extra customizations)
