Before I was hateful towards the Iphone, but I think it's a good thing that it came out. This gives us alternative to a different phone, which pressure Sprint/HTC to give us what we want.

Same thing that has been up since they took down the 2.16. I was just curious to see it on an company site and not BAW.

I spoke to a mid-level rep tonight and he said that he just received the word about the rom. I asked him if it was due the 28th as rumored. He said his memo said the 30th.

Take that for what it is worth.

My opinion is that 11/30 is an 'at least by' date to give to customers, but will be posted as soon as Elvis gives the OK.

I'm having a tough time even considering believing anything that a customer care rep would have to say in regards to update releases. I will simply hope that it is released when HTC says (early 1st Quarter '08.) Anything prior to that would simply be a pleasant surprise.

I'm glad you caught my sarcasm so quickly. I am on my 5th month trying to get back the $579.99 charge that they took out of my credit card to 'hold' until I returned a 755P in an 'even' exchange for the Mogul on June 30th.

I have been told in 6 different dialects for more than 160 days to expect it to be credited to my card, my account, by check, etc in 3 to 5 business days.

Here is the real word on the update from Sprint

Sprint, "You shall been given phone update in 3 to 5 days".

Us, "What about Thanksgiving? Does that count as a Day?"

Sprint, "Thank you too for giving, is there anything I may assist you with today?"

Us, "You didn't answer my question. When will the ROM update actually be available?"

Sprint, "ROM is not available today, he shall be available at this number on 22nd of this week."

Us, "On Thanksgiving?"

Sprint, "Thank you too for giving, is there anything I may assist you with today?"

Us, "Ummm, no. Thank you....oh, and have a happy Thanksgiving Day."

Sprint, "Thank you too for giving, is there anything I may assist you with today?"

Us, click, crackle pop, trying to hang up by headset.

Sorry, somebody had to step up and say it.

Hardware alone, I think the Mogul is crappy. Other opinions may vary. I am sitting here looking at my 4 month old Mogul that has never been dropped, but feels like I have owned it all of 5 years. The construction should be better than this. I've seen Legos stand up longer than my Mogul.
The only thing about the Mogul that isn't solid is the battery cover. I've dropped my phone several times on my hardwood flooring, outside, etc... and my phone doesn't have a scratch on it. I also use my keyboard and stylus heavily and so far, the keyboard buttons are still nice and firm, the stylus still stays in the phone with no problems, and the phone in general has no issues.

Do you mean a registered user at HTC. Because when I click the link that you provided, it doesn't open the same website that you included in the zip file.

EDIT:

I am seeing it now by linking to www.america.htc.com and your link iZm. Very Strange before.

Okay...I see the new info about GPS and Rev. A on the www.america.htc.com website.

Enabling Rev. A and GPS would make this phone better than any other in my opinion. I think Sprint and HTC are finally on a good road...I am starting to have faith in both of these companies again. I just hope they keep their word.

Don't keep your fingers crossed.. We all know that sprint has a rep of not keeping their word.
